Welcome to the Duquesne Men's Volleyball homepage! What we have so far is very basic, but basically our main goal is to let everyone at Duquesne know we exist. We are looking for serious players who are dedicated and willing to work hard. We take the team pretty seriously but we definitely have fun, too, or it wouldn't be worth playing. We play in the Penn-Ohio Volleyball League (POVL) that boasts some very stiff competition. Robert Morris, Grove City, IUP, and Duquesne round out the top of the POVL every year and it's quite the fight for 1st place of this league at the end of the year POVL Championships hosted at Grove City College. A lot of our leagues' players have played Junior Olympic volleyball in high school and could have gone on to play college ball; so the POVL is some pretty good volleyball. And as you can tell by the picture, we are pretty good, too. At one point in the year we were ranked #24 in the nation in the category of Division II Club Team.
